I have a bit of an obsession with Golliwogs (i have a bit of an obsession with many things come to think about it). I have painted a few golliwogs now, this was my first. I gave it to my friend, Chris, who used to be my neighbour in Queensland. Since then, i also painted a series of four identical golliwogs but tried to put a bit of an Andy Warhol spin on it by doing the different colour thing to them, only i used deeper colours instead of fluro colours. They are hanging in the front hallway and they need a bit of touching up which i will get around to one day.
